This is the worst crossover

And no, I'm not yet tired of drawing Alex Mercer.

So yeah, Prototype/Metroid might be an even less plausible crossover than Prototype/Assassin's Creed. Still, Alex and the X-Parasite have a key thing in common: they can take the physical form and memories of their prey. That's why I drew the two of them together, and it kinda makes me wonder what would happen if one attacked the other.

Personally, the best Prototype crossover is with InFamous, even though I haven't played the latter.
